Claudia Winkleman: Strictly host makes surprise BBC wardrobe admission


 Strictly’s host Claudia Winkleman said that she doesn’t get to keep her glamorous BBC attire Instead, the glitzy numbers are recycled by BBC’s wardrobe department and she aid she’s even spotted them worn by an EastEnders cast member  Speaking to The Mirror, Claudia made the candid confession. She said: “I love the clothes I wear on Strictly but I don’t get to keep them  “They go back to the BBC and I absolutely love it when I see other people wearing them Actress Letitia Dean [plays Sharon Mitchell] on EastEnders came on in one of my dresses and that was really exciting ” She went on to say that despite being one of the highest paid women on TV, she still struggles with imposter syndrome   READ MORE Tess Daly: Strictly host’s husband Vernon Kay denies split  She said: “Imposter syndrome, I’ve got it in capital letters ” However, she added that even if her media career were to end, she’d still be happy with the memories  She continued: “Even if they phoned me now and said, ‘You’re done’, I’d still think I have had the best career possible  “I think your mental wellbeing is affected if you compare yourself to others.  “I am totally happy where I am at I am not at the top but I am incredibly grateful for what I have.” She is believed to be the highest paid women at the BBC and is estimated to earn at least £370,000 per year  In a separate interview with the The Daily Mail, she said she was “surprised” by this  She said: “Nobody’s more surprised than me.
